Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for bringing the following to life in a way that personifies our brand internally and externally: employee recruitment process, employee engagement, performance management and retention programs, new hire orientation and onboarding, payroll and benefits, company policies and procedures. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in both offices (Toronto and Halifax) in order to assist with their human resource needs. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
  • Plan and execute staff events and engagement programs
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation and onboarding efforts
  • Payroll and benefits administration
  • Annual performance review program
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal responsibilities
  • Overall human resource best practices to support leadership and team


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, or related area
  • 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills working both in-person and remotely
  • Industry experience or relatable experience would be an asset
